What began as an experiment is now an open archive of lived transformation.

Since 2000, works have been created under the name Burningpictures, combining fire and pigment, structure and chance, destruction and beauty.

25 years of artistic research with the element of fire.

25 years of embers, smoke, heat and the constant play with the boundary between control and letting go.

My new series of works, Pyrographic Landscapes, brings together the experiences of a quarter of a century. They are traces, memories, fragments – created in that space where material burns and meaning illuminates.
