The international group exhibition “Gravity and Levity: A Cosmic Dance”, curated by Stefania Carrozzini, will take place in March 2026 at the renowned

Montserrat Contemporary Art Gallery in New York City.

Thomas Girbl has been invited to participate with selected works. Following a curatorial review by Stefania Carrozzini, his Burning Pictures were deemed

conceptually and aesthetically aligned with the theme of the exhibition.

The show explores the poetic tension between gravitational forces and the desire for transcendence — between cosmic weight and creative lightness.

A dialogue unfolds between the visible and the invisible, between inner grounding and spiritual elevation.
